Reima Kokko

Reima Kokko (s. 26. maaliskuuta 1952 Helsinki) on suomalainen jalkapallovalmentaja ja entinen jalkapalloilija.

Pelaajaurallaan Kokko edusti Helsingin Jalkapalloklubia, Kiffeniä, Finnairin Palloilijoita ja Vantaan Palloa. Pisimpään Kokko pelasi Kiffenissä, jota hän edusti yhteensä 11 kauden ajan. Pelatessaan 1979–1981 HJK:ssa yhden Suomen mestaruuden voittanut Kokko pääsi myös maajoukkueeseen ja pelasi yhteensä kuudessa maaottelussa.[1][2]

FinnPa pelasi 2. divisioonassa, kun Reima Kokko tuli seuran valmentajaksi vuonna 1989. Hänen johdollaan FinnPa nousi 1. divisioonaan ja kauden 1992 päätteeksi Veikkausliigaan. Veikkausliigassa Kokko valmensi FinnPaa kaksi kautta ja parhaimmillaan saavutti 5. sijan nousua seuranneella kaudella.[3] FinnPasta Kokko siirtyi 2. divisioonassa pelanneen Kiffenin valmentajaksi joulukuussa 1994. Hänet pestattiin naisten maajoukkueen valmentajaksi keväällä 1996 Nils Suomalaisen erottua tehtävästään. Kokko jatkoi aluksi myös Kiffenin valmentajana. Maajoukkuevalmentajana Kokko jatkoi vuoden 2000 marraskuuhun asti, jolloin hän erosi Suomen hävittyä Ruotsille EM-jatkokarsinnassa.[4] Kokon valmentamana Suomi oli lähellä myös 1999 MM-kisoihin pääsyä, mutta hävisi lopulta jatkokarsinnassa Venäjälle.[2][5][6]
