Ranskan kantonit (ransk. Canton français) ovat Ranskan arrondissementin osa-alueita.[1] Ne koostuvat useista kunnista ja toimivat vaalipiireinä yleisneuvostojen vaaleissa.[2] Kustakin kantonista valitaan yksi edustaja kaksikierroksisella enemmistövaalilla departementin yleisneuvostoon (pois lukien Pariisi, jossa käytetään erilaista vaalitapaa). Ranskassa on nykyään 4 032 kantonia, ja täten yhtä monta yleisneuvostojen jäsentä (conseiller général). Monet Ranskan suurimmista kaupungeista on jaettu useampaan kantoniin. Pariisissa arrondissementit vastaavat joskus kantoneita.
