Peter Max Schreier (29. heinäkuuta 1935 Meissen[1] – 25. joulukuuta 2019[2] Dresden[3]) oli saksalainen laulaja (lyyrinen tenori) ja kapellimestari.

Schreier sai äänenmurroksen 16-vuotiaana. Hän teki debyyttinsä elokuussa 1959 roolissa Ludwig van Beethovenin ainoassa oopperassa Fideliossa. Myöhempinä vuosina hän menestyi myös Wolfgang Amadeus Mozartin tulkitsijana.

Schreier sai vuonna 1963 kiinnityksen Berliiniin Valtionoopperaan Unter den Lindenille. Hän oli vuodesta 1966 alkaen myös vuotuinen vieraileva taiteilija Wienin valtionoopperassa. Hän teki vuonna 1966 myös Bayreuthin-debyyttinsä, ja vuonna 1967 hän teki ensiesiintymisensä Salzburgin musiikkijuhlilla. Hän asui vakituisesti Dresdenissä.

Lisäksi Schreier lauloi muun muassa Richard Wagneria ja Hans Pfitzneriä sekä saksalaisia liedejä. Hän jätti oopperalavan kesäkuussa 2000 viimeisenä roolinaan Taikahuilun prinssi Tamino. 22. joulukuuta 2005 hän esiintyi evankelistana ja kapellimestarina J. S. Bachin jouluoratorion esityksessä Prahassa. Hän esiintyi myös Suomessa lukuisia kertoja 1960-luvulta alkaen, muun muassa Helsingissä, Savonlinnan oopperajuhlilla sekä Naantalin musiikkijuhlilla.[4]
