Klaus Bremer.

Klaus Ilmari Bremer (s. 3. marraskuuta 1938 Helsinki) on suomalainen yrittäjä, toimittaja ja kansanedustaja vuosina 1995–2003. Bremer on koulutukseltaan diplomiekonomi.

Bremer aloitti urheilutoimittajana ja avustajana Sport-Pressen- ja Hufvudstadsbladet-lehdessä 1954 ja jatkoi Uuden Suomen, Ilta-Sanomien ja Helsingin Sanomien avustajana. Vuonna 1962 hänestä tuli Sanoma Oy:n uutiskuvalehti Viikkosanomien auto- ja liikennetoimittaja, 1969 Tekniikan Maailman ja Hymy-lehden erikoistoimittaja, VIP-lehden päätoimittaja, 1972 Yhtyneet Kuvalehdet Oy:n hallituksen jäsen ja Iltasetiä julkaisseen tytäryhtiön toimitusjohtaja,[1] 1974 Karprint Ky:n varatoimitusjohtaja.

Vuonna 1978 Bremer perusti oman lehtikustantamonsa, Kustannus Oy Autotekniikan (v:sta 1991 B Yhtiöt Oy), jonka hallituksen päätoimisena puheenjohtajana hän toimii edelleen. Bremer tuli tunnetuksi Radio Cityn lentävänä liikennereportterina ”Klaude Kopterina” vuosina 1989–2000.[2][3]

Bremer perusti ensimmäisen maahantuontiyrityksensä Klaus Bremer & Co, Ky:n opiskeluaikanaan 1961, ilmailualan yrityksen Bremer Air Oy:n 1975 ja autoalan yrityksen Bremer MotorSport Oy:n (v:sta 1997 BMS International Oy) 1985. Bremer on toiminut aktiivisesti Euroopan ja Pohjoismaiden autoalan lehdistön yhteistoimintajärjestöissä ITOY, IVOY, IB&COY ja NTC vuodesta 1981. Hän on World Association of Commercial Vehicles Editors (ACE) perustajajäsen. Bremer oli Helsingin Yrittäjät ry:n puheenjohtaja 2000 ja 2001. Hän on Suomen suurimman kotiseutuyhdistyksen, Stadin Slangi ry:n toinen perustajajäsen. [3]

Bremer oli Helsingin kaupunginvaltuuston ja kaupunkisuunnittelulautakunnan jäsen 1993–2000.[3] Bremer valittiin eduskuntaan vuoden 1995 eduskuntavaaleissa RKP:n sitoutumattomana ehdokkaana.[4] Hänet valittiin Eduskuntaan myös vuonna 1999, mutta hän ei asettunut ehdolle enää vuoden 2003 vaaleissa. Kansanedustajana hän tuli tunnetuksi liikenneasioiden edistäjänä ja erityisesti yksityisautoilun puolestapuhujana.[5]

Bremer saavutti maajoukkueuimarina ja -vesipalloilijana 28 SM-kultaa ja 3 PM-hopeaa sekä 3 SM-kultaa kilpa-autoilussa.lähde?[6]

Klaus Bremerin setä oli lentäjä Väinö Bremer ja serkku ralli- ja rata-autoilija Carl-Otto Bremer.[7]
