Kino Juha[1] on vuonna 1958 rakennettu elokuvateatteri Nurmijärven Kirkonkylällä ja ainoa kunnan alueella toimiva elokuvateatteri.

Elokuvateatterissa on 139 uutta istuinta ja neljä paikkaa pyörätuoleille. Salissa on esiintymislava ja äänentoistolaitteet, joten Kino Juhassa voidaan pitää myös pienimuotoisia konsertteja ja kokouksia.

Teatteri on saanut Suomen elokuvasäätiöltä useana vuonna toimintatukea.[2] Vuonna 2012 tehdyn rakennuksen kunnostustyön on suunnitellut arkkitehtitoimisto Arkkitehdit Mustonen.[3]

Historia

Elokuvateatterin rakensivat kirkonkylän keskustaan Sirkka ja Veikko Säilä[4] kirkonmiesten vastustuksesta huolimatta. He kun pitivät "elävien kuvien teatteria" synnillisenä ja mahdollisesti jopa nurmijärveläisten sukupuolisiveyttä vaarantavana laitoksena. Säilän tytär Ulla Luukkonen[5] perheineen jatkoi toimintaa 1980-luvun loppupuolelle asti. Vuodesta 1997 alkaen teatteria pyöritti seuraavat 21 vuotta Pentti Niemelä[6] aina Kino Juhan 60-vuotispäiviin asti vuonna 2018.

Vuoden 2019 alussa Kino Juha siirtyi elokuvaohjaaja Taavi Vartian[7] yhtiön omistukseen.
