Hiljaisuuden jooga

Hiljaisuuden jooga® yksi kristillisen joogan muoto. Se on sairaalapappi, retriitinohjaaja ja joogaopettaja Heli Harjunpään kehittämä harjoituskokonaisuus, joka yhdistää hathajoogaan pohjautuvia harjoituksia ja kristillistä hiljaisuuden perinnettä sekä rukousta.

Hiljaisuuden jooga on vuonna 2019 rekisteröity sanapari ja joogamuoto. Sen ohjaaminen edellyttää koulutusta, jota on järjestetty vuodesta 2019 lähtien. Koulutuksen on käynyt yli sata ihmistä, joista suurin osa on Suomen evankelis-luterilaisen kirkon työntekijöitä.[1] Hiljaisuuden jooga on Suomessa tunnetuin kristillisen joogan muoto, ja sitä järjestetään joissain luterilaisissa seurakunnissa. Muun muassa Turun arkkihiippakunnan piispa Mari Leppänen on valmistunut Hiljaisuuden joogan® ohjaajaksi.[2]

Hiljaisuuden jooga on rekisteröity ruotsiksi vuonna 2023 nimellä Stillhetens yoga. Ruotsinkielisen käännöstyön on tehnyt pastori, Hiljaisuuden joogan® opettaja Maria Repo-Rostedt, joka on myös aloittanut Stillhetens yoga® ledare -koulutuksen.

Hiljaisuuden ystävät ry:n verkkosivulla määritellään: ”Hiljaisuuden joogassa liitytään mystiikan teologiaan, kokemuksellisuuteen, kuuntelevaan rukoukseen ja kontemplaatioon. Hiljaisuuden joogan harjoitukset ovat hiljaisuuden viljelyä koko olemuksella – keholla, mielellä ja hengellä. Niissä avaudutaan kohden sisäistä hiljaisuutta, joka on hengellinen ulottuvuus, jossa mieli hiljenee ja tulee tilaa Jumalan läsnäolon kokemiselle. Ne ovat yhtenäinen meditatiivinen kokonaisuus, miniretriitti.”[3]
