Erkki August ”Eero” Ronkanen (2. marraskuuta 1908 – 8. elokuuta 1990)[1][2] oli suomalainen jalkapalloilija, joka pelasi neljä A-maaottelua vuosina 1932–1934.[3]

Ura

Laitahyökkääjänä esiintynyt Ronkanen aloitti uransa Työväen Urheiluliiton mestaruussarjassa pelanneessa Töölön Vesassa. Vuonna 1928 hän edusti Työväen Urheiluliiton jalkapallojoukkuetta Moskovan spartakiadeissa. Koska sosialidemokraattien johtama TUL oli kieltänyt urheilijoitaan osallistumasta kommunistisen Punaisen urheiluinternationaalin järjestämiin Spartakiadeihin, erotettiin joukkueen pelaajat liiton jäsenyydestä vuotta myöhemmin.[4]

Ilman seuraa jäänyt Ronkanen siirtyi vuonna 1930 Kiffenin riveihin ja sieltä edelleen vuoden kuluttua Helsingin Palloseuraan.[4] Hän edusti seuraa vuoteen 1941 saakka ja voitti kolme Suomen mestaruutta vuosina 1932, 1934 ja 1935.[5] Kaikkiaan Ronkanen pelasi 11 kauden aikana 127 pääsarjatason ottelua, joissa hän teki 44 maalia.[6]

A-maajoukkueessa Ronkanen debytoi kesäkuussa 1932 Norjaa vastaan pelatussa ystävyysottelussa.[1]
