Manhwa
Manhwa (Hangul: 만화; Hanja: 漫畵; manβʷa ahoskatua) komiki-bandak eta komikiak izendatzeko erabiltzen den koreerazko terminoa da. Hego eta Ipar Koreatik kanpo, hitzak heogokorear komiki-bandak baino ez ditu izendatzen, komikigintzan herrialde nagusietako bat baita.[1] Manhwa beten egileak manhwaga (만화가; 漫畫家) du izena.
Bai koreerazko manhwa terminoak, bai manga japoniarrak eta baita manhua txinatarrak ere, estilo apur bat ezberdinak izendatzen dituzte, baina jatorrizko termino beraren hitz sortuak dira: 漫畵 hain zuzen ere. Manhwa mendebaldeko liburuen norabide berean irakurtzen da alfabeto latinoan, hau da, horizontalki eta ezkerretik eskuinera.[2] Manga horizontalean eta eskuinetik ezkerrera irakurtzen da. Manhua bertikalki eta ezkerretik eskuinera irakurtzen da.
