León Esteban Francisco Febres-Cordero Ribadeneyra (Guayaquil, Ekuador, 1931ko martxoaren 9a - Guayaquil, 2008ko abenduaren 15a) ekuadortar ingeniari eta politikaria izan zen. Errepublikako lehendakaria izan zen 1984tik 1988ra.

Biografia

Estatu Batuetan lortu zuen ingeniari-titulua. Guayaquilgo enpresa garrantzitsuen buru izan zen, eta merkataritza-ganberako lehendakari. Diputatu eta senatari izan zen, eta, 1979an, alderdi sozial-kristauan sartu zen.

1984ko hauteskundeetan kontserbadoreen hautagai zela, errepublikako lehendakari aukeratu zuten bigarren itzulian. Bere agintaldian, politika ekonomiko neoliberala bultzatu zuen, eta Osvaldo Hurtado lehendakari ohiaren (1982-1984) kontra egin zuen dirua bidegabe erabiltzeagatik. 1986an, Vargas jeneralak zuzendutako estatu-kolpe ahalegina jasan zuen eta, hurrengo urtean, bahitu egin zuen hainbat orduz militar haren aldeko militar talde batek.
