Cladoniaceae likenizatutako onddoen familia da, Lecanorales ordenakoa. Oso ugariak dira, klima hotzeko eskualdeetan bereziki. Cladonia generoko espezie batzuek garrantzi handia dute tundrako belarjale batzuen (elur-oreina, idi musketaduna) elikaduran.
Talo konposatua dute. Talo primarioa krustazeoa, eskuamulatua edo hostokara izan daiteke (iraunkor edo desagerkorra), errizoiderik gabekoa. Talo sekundarioa, berriz, podezio deitutako egitura zutez osatua da. Batzuetan podezioetan disko-formako apotezioak agertzen dira eta beste batzuk antzuak dira[2].
