Botkul[1] (kazakheraz: Боткөл, errusieraz: Боткуль) Erdialdeko Asian kokaturiko aintzira endorreiko gazia da, Kazakhstan eta Errusia arteko mugan[2].
Geografia
Kaspiar sakonunean kokaturik dago, 2 metrotako altueran. Solyonaya ibaiak betetzen du eta aintzira endorreikoa izanik ez du hustubiderik, uraren lurrunketa baino. Uda oso beroetan lehortzera iritsi daiteke[3]. Horrek gazitasun maila handia ematen dio.
32 km2-ko azalera du. 9,6 km neurtzen du luzeran eta 6,6 zabaleran.
Flora
Padura gaziak inguratzen du aintzira eta landare halofiloak aurkitzen dira bertan, tamarizak esate baterako[4].
