René Pollesch (Friedberg, 29 de octubre de 1962-Berlín, 26 de febrero de 2024)[1]​ fue un director de cine, escritor y dramaturgo alemán.

Biografía

De 1983 a 1989 estudió con Andrzej Wirth y Hans-Thies Lehmann en el Instituto de Estudios Aplicados de Teatro en la Universidad de Giessen.[2]​[3]​

En sus producciones los temas constantes son el psicoanálisis, el amor y el capitalismo.[4]​

En 2001 ganó el premio Mülheimer Dramatikerpreis por World wide web-slums.[5]​ En 2006 obtuvo otro premio por Cappuccetto Rosso.[6]​
