Margarita de Suecia (Margaretha Sofia Lovisa Ingeborg; Estocolmo, 25 de junio de 1899 - Faxe, 4 de enero de 1977) fue la hija mayor del príncipe Carlos, duque de Västergötland_, y de la princesa Ingeborg de Dinamarca.^[1]

Biografía

Nacimiento

Margarita nació el 25 de junio de 1899 en Estocolmo siendo la primera hija del príncipe Carlos, Duque de Västergötland_, y de la princesa Ingeborg de Dinamarca.^[1]

Primeros años

Margarita se educó en un ambiente muy liberal. Sus padres querían criar a sus hijos como burgueses, no como miembros de la realeza. Así aprendió a hornear, cocinar y cuidar a los niños.

Boda

El 22 de mayo de 1919 contrajo matrimonio con el príncipe Absalón de Dinamarca en la Catedral de San Nicolás (Estocolmo).
