La verda fluoreska proteino (mallongigo GFP; angle green fluorescent protein) estas proteino el meduzo Aequorea victoria, unuafoje priskribita fare de Osamu Shimomura en 1961. Ĝi fluoreskas ĉe ekscitiĝo en la verdao kun bluaj kaj ultraviolaj lumoj. Ĝia graveco en la biologio, precipe en la ĉelbiologio estas, ke la GFP povas fuzii kun iu ajn aliaj proteinoj, gen-specife.
