Nagykörű [nadjkorU] estas vilaĝo en meza Hungario en regiono Norda Ebenaĵo, en departemento Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok, en Distrikto Szolnok. La loknomo signifas hungare: granda cirklo (=Tiso-ĉirkaŭbrako).

Nagykörű situas ĉe la dekstra bordo de Tiso, kie pramo funkcias al Fegyvernek.

Historio

En 1212 abatejo fondiĝis, baldaŭe ankaŭ komunumo fondiĝis. La Tiso ĉirkaŭbrakis la vilaĝon, tial la turkoj ne tuŝis la komunumon. Reguligo de la Tiso ŝanĝis geografian situon de la vilaĝo.

La komunumo famiĝis pro la ĉerizo: tie troveblas la plej granda ĉerizarbaro kaj la sola subspecio-kolektaĵo (ĉ. 100). Fine de la 19-a jarcento bienulo György Petrovay alportis la ĉeriztipon de Germersdorf, pri kiu iĝis fama la vilaĝo.
