Mendado kaj ofertado

En la ekonomika teorio, la teorio pri mendado kaj ofertado montras, kiel la prezo kaj la kvanto de varoj estas determinataj de la merkato.

En ĉiu merkato, kiam mendado superas ofertadon, la prezoj emas kreski. Male, kiam ofertado superas mendadon, la prezoj emas malkreski. Tiel la merkato ekvilibriĝas: mendado egalas ofertadon. Prezo estas vidata kiel funkcio de la kurboj de ofertado kaj mendado.

Ĝin unuafoje priskribis Ksenofono (angle ĉe 4.6.[rompita ligilo]), jene:

"... Kresko de nombro de kupraĵ-metiistoj kondukas al prezofalo de la kupraĵoj kaj la metiisto retiriĝas de tiu agado. Same okazas ĉe la forĝistoj. Same, se greno kaj vino estas abunda kaj tiel tiuj estas malkaraj, la profito malaperas kaj multaj ĉesas kultivi la agron kaj ekagadas kiel komercistoj, vendistoj aŭ uzuristoj..."

Kurboj de ofertado kaj mendado

En la grafikaĵo oni konsideru la prezon (vertikale montratan) kiel nedependan variablon, el kiu rezultas certaj mendo kaj oferto, ambaŭ mezurataj per siaj kvantoj, montrataj horizontale. Tre malalta prezo rezultigus grandan mendon, sed nulan oferton, ĉar ne valoras produkti la varon aŭ doni la servon. Inverse, tre alta prezo rezultigus altan oferton, sed malgrandan mendon. Ambaŭ statoj ne estus stabilaj.

Oni vidas en la bildo, ke ekvilibriĝas la merkato, kiam mendado egalas ofertadon, je la prezo P* kaj kvanto K*. Kiam ofertado estas pli granda ol mendado, la aĉetantoj povas trudi malpli grandan prezon. Kiam mendado estas pli granda ol ofertado, la vendantoj povas postuli pli altan prezon.

Se la influo de prezo al mendado funkcias bone, la mendado estas elasta rilate al prezo. Se plialtigo aŭ malplialtigo de prezo ne ŝanĝas aĉetadon, mendado estas malelasta rilate al prezo.

Inverse ankaŭ la ofertado dependas de la prezo (krom ĉe neplimultigeblaj objektoj kiel antikvaĵoj aŭ grundo). Ju pli alta la prezo, des pli altajn kvantojn la vendantoj emas produkti.

Problemo ne estas nur en priskribado de fenomenoj koncerne de terminoj "ofertado" kaj "mendado".

La formo "Mendado kaj ofertado" estas populara esprimo. En ekonomikaj faktekstoj oni plej ofte parolas pri "Proponado kaj postulado"[1] [2]
