John Talbot, 1-a grafo de Shrewsbury, (naskiĝis inter 1384 kaj 1390, mortis la 17-an de julio 1453) estis angla generalo dum la centjara milito inter Anglio kaj Francio.

Li estis la dua filo de Richard (4-a Barono Talbot) kaj Ankoret, heredontino de la lasta Lordo Strange de Blackmere.

Vivo

De 1404 al 1413 li militis kun sia pli aĝa frato Gilbert en Kimrio kontraŭ Owain Glyndŵr.

En 1409 li unue ĉeestis la anglan parlamenton.

De 1414 al 1419 li estis lordo-leŭtenanto (guberniestro) de Irlando, kie li altiris plendojn pro sia tre malmilda politiko. De 1420 al 1424 li militis en Francio. En 1425 li denove (kaj mallonge) servis kiel lordo-leustenanto de Irlando.
