La Konferenco pri Klimata Ŝanĝiĝo de Unuiĝintaj Nacioj de 2021, pli ofte nomata COP-26, estis la 26-a konferenco pri Klimata Ŝanĝiĝo de Unuiĝintaj Nacioj, okazigita en Glasgovo (Skotlando, Unuiĝinta Reĝlando), de la 31-a de oktobro ĝis la 13-a de novembro 2021. Prokrastita por unu jaro pro la COVID-19-pandemio, ĝi estis la 26-a Konferenco de la Partioj (COP) de la Kadra Konvencio de Unuiĝintaj Nacioj pri Klimata Ŝanĝiĝo (UNFCCC), tio estas, la 26-a internacia konferenco pri klimata ŝanĝiĝo kaj tutmonda varmiĝo.

Ĝi estis ĉeforganizita de Unuiĝinta Reĝlando, kun itala kunlaborado. La prezidanto de la konferenco estis brita kabinetministro Alok Sharma.

La konferenco estis konsiderata la plej grava konferenco pri klimato ekde la Pariza konferenco de 2015 (COP21), ĉar ĝi celis fiksi malsamajn agresemajn celojn por redukti ellason de forceja gaso.

Multaj en la studfako de klimaŝanĝiĝo kredas, ke tiu estus la lasta ŝanco meti la landojn de la mondo sur vojon, kiu evitos la plej gravajn sekvojn de la tutmonda varmiĝo.

La konferencon ĉeestis proksimume 25 000 delegitoj el 200 landoj, inkluzive de usona prezidanto Joe Biden, hinda ĉefministro Narendra Modi kaj kanada ĉefministro Justin Trudeau. Naturisto kaj produktoro David Attenborough partoprenis konferencon kiel popola advokato (People's Advocate).

Ĉina prezidanto Xi Jinping, rusa prezidento Vladimir Putin kaj brazila prezidento Jair Bolsonaro anoncis, ke ili ne ĉeestos la konferencon.

Rezultoj

Pli ol 100 ŝtatestroj promesis alporti 30% redukton en metan-emisioj ĝis 2030. Ĉi tio estas kiel parto de resumo kiu antaŭas la konferencon. Krome, ĉirkaŭ 100 ŝtatestroj konsentis ĉesigi senarbarigon antaŭ 2030. Preskaŭ dudek miliardoj da dolaroj ankaŭ estos asignitaj por kompenso kaj arbarrestarigo. Ekspertoj pri klimato bonvenigis la movon, sed menciis, ke la Pariza Interkonsento ankaŭ decidis malrapidigi la kruzon de senarbarigo, sed la landoj ne povis plenumi siajn devontigojn.

Ukraina prezidanto Volodimir Zelenskij promesis ke Ukrainio ĉesigos uzadon de la karbo ĝis 2035, sed fakuloj ekde komence dubis pri plenumeblo de tiu ĉi plano kaj la ukraina ministerio pri energio respondis ke la prezidenta promeso "ne enhavas striktajn sindevigojn kaj ne signifas rezignon je karbo".
