Alegorio

Alegorio devenas el la greka allegorein "paroli figure". Ĝenerale, alegorio estas konkreta reprezento de priskribaj elementoj de abstrakta ideo. Alegorio estas:

  1. Vorto aŭ imago kiu rememorigas alian aferon (eks. kranio kun du ostoj estas alegorio de danĝero);
  2. Procezo retorika per kiu oni kreas imagojn metaforan koresponde al termino reala;
  3. Arta verko de alegoria senco.

Alegorioj estas elementoj de simbola lingvo ofte kun nerekta signifo. Por rekoni kaj kompreni alegorion oni bezonas fonan scion pri la uzata simbolo.
