Aglomeraĵo

Ekzemplo de aglomeraĵo estas la urbara areo San Diego-Tijuana. Ambaŭ urboj kune formas dunacian aglomeraĵon inter Meksiko kaj Usono.

Ĝeneralsence, aglomeraĵo estas densa nedisiĝema maso kunigita el pluraj aĵoj. Laŭ la fako la difino malsamas.

Aglomeraĵo aŭ urbaro, estas centra urbo kaj ĝiaj najbaraj komunumoj, kiuj estas ligitaj al la centra urbo per senrompa ĉeno de urboj aŭ per multaj laborantoj, kiuj vojaĝas al la aglomeraĵo ĉiutage por labori. Aglomeraĵo povas havi pli ol unu centron (ekzemple, la aglomeraĵo de Ruhr en Germanio).
