Rules
- Anyone can answer a quiz question, but to ask a question you must first earn the right by being the first person to answer the previous one correctly. If the current question is still open and you think you know the answer, post your answer below and wait for an adjudication from the person who placed the question. Remember to sign your post with ~~~~.
- If you are the first person to post the correct answer, the asker will post a message below your answer confirming you gave the correct response.
- You now have the baton and should post a new question as quickly as possible. If you do not post a new question within a reasonable time frame, a comment should first be made, then anyone can either put out a general invite for a new question, or post one themselves.
Question guidelines
- If you're finding no-one can get the answer to your question, consider offering clues or replacing your question with an easier one. The aim is to keep the quiz moving.
- Remember that you have an international audience. Keep quiz questions relevant to international cricket in some way.

which is the cheapest 9 wicket hall in FC cricket? 117.217.177.96 (talk) 07:35, 2 April 2016 (UTC)
- It's alive! :) I have an idea that the cheapest 9 wicket analysis is 9-7, but without looking it up I can't remember who it was by. JH (talk page) 08:51, 2 April 2016 (UTC)

Who was the first cricketer to wear an helmet in international cricket?
- Was it an Australian against the West Indian giant quicks? VasuVR (talk, contribs) 16:17, 28 May 2017 (UTC)
@VasuVRYes you are correct he is an Australian and his second name is also a rhyming word of "gallop"Abishe (talk) 04:33, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
- Graham Yallop did ring a bell on the question. However, when some articles on internet claim Dennis Amiss used the first helmet, was not sure. VasuVR (talk, contribs) 09:20, 31 May 2017 (UTC)

John Harris was the first-ever player to do what? Jack (talk) 23:43, 15 January 2026 (UTC)
- No one? He was the first known "top scorer". The earliest scorecard is from 1744, and Harris made 47, a big score in those times. Jack (talk) 00:19, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
- Just came to say this!!! Given how scarce surviving or complete scorecards are from the time, I'd bet my bottom dollar someone had scored higher; but alas, we will never know. AA (talk) 18:32, 19 January 2026 (UTC)

Ed Joyce was dismissed under unusual circumstances in a County Championship match in 2009. Points for naming who caught him and how! AA (talk) 18:35, 19 January 2026 (UTC)
- I think it was Jonathan trott in 2009-10 where the shot hit by Joyce flew directly into his pocket. Neel (talk)12:56, 20 January 2026 (UTC)
