Vulaines-sur-Seine (French pronunciation: [vylɛn syʁ sɛn] ⓘ, literally Vulaines on Seine) is a commune in the Seine-et-Marne department in the Île-de-France region in north-central France.
French symbolist poet Stéphane Mallarmé died there in September 1898.
It is twinned with the village of Barby, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom.[3]
