It depends! I'd suggest reading WP:NEVENT and WP:NCRIME, which helps determine whether the topic is notable enough to be a Wikipedia article.

Generally, if a topic is covered by multiple reliable sources that are in-depth and independent, then it is suitable for a Wikipedia article.

Your article might fit these criteria, but the reason I originally moved it to draft space is because there were no sources so notability couldn't be demonstrated.
