You removed the McCabe's link from the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band article, saying that the Long Beach shop was not affiliated with the famous Santa Monica one. I find this hard to believe. How can you have two shops in SoCal with the same uncommon name without a relationship? However, I can't find anything online that relates them. In fact, I can't find anything about the Long Beach shop at all. Do you know anything more? Here is a newspaper article from the Long Beach Press-Telegram about the McCabe's in Long Beach (which I used to drive by all the time.) I'll see if I can find a source about no relationship. More links can be found here and here, although one is a forum that we usually don't post as a reference. But at least you can see the McCabe's in Long Beach existed and that it appears to be a separate entity with separate owners. The sources only talk about the situation as it existed in the 1980s. I have a strong suspicion that, given the less-than-common-name, the Santa Monica store could have expanded into Long Beach and then later sold it. In the early 1970s, it was common to believe that they were connected. However, I cannot find a single source to even suggest such a thing. Even the McCabe's web-site says nothing about the Long Beach store. Naturally, I support removing the wiki-link from the Dirt Band article, but I am puzzled that I can't find anything online about that store. We tend to think that we can Google anything and find it, but there are still mysteries. Are you talking about this edit from three years ago? If so, making a POV comment saying "No wonder Wikipedia has developed a reputation for incorrect/incomplete information" along with the long line of periods, as well as the unsourced information, was why your edits were reverted. Hello, Bahooka. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi. This is a revert you did a year ago in Criticism of Mormons article after I added a line
that this "deviant version of Christianity" was a main criticism of the LDS. I can't find a reason
stated for your reversion, although this has been and still is one of the
most-often voiced anti-Mormon comments. If we search for critique
of Mormonism on youtube, about half of the videos are Cristians saying
"stay clear of these fake Christians." And there's massive written
documentation of my claim from 1830 to present. Why didn't you want that in the
article? I doubt you're a Saint who doesn't want this brought up?
And my personal opinion is that the Christians are straining to make this
doctrinal quibble seem substantial. ?? There needs to be some kind of verifiable evidence that a college or person is sponsored by Under Armour. See the Wikipedia policy at Wikipedia:Verifiability. That will be a good guide for you as you begin to edit Wikipedia. Most of the references either didn't exist or were just a link to the athletics program at the school. Good afternoon. I noticed that you have reverted two of my edits, and have made the serious accusation that I am vandalizing Wikipedia. I take this accusation very seriously. You will notice that I provided a reference for each of my edits. You either were too lazy to read the citations, or you decided to abandon the principle of fairness. I'd like to see if we can get past this incident and extend an olive branch to you. Best wishes.TheSwedishPorcupine (talk) 16:32, 29 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"2020-10-29T16:32:00.000Z","author":"TheSwedishPorcupine","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-TheSwedishPorcupine-2020-10-29T16:32:00.000Z-Accusations_of_Vandalism","replies":["c-Bahooka-2020-10-29T17:40:00.000Z-TheSwedishPorcupine-2020-10-29T16:32:00.000Z"]}}-->

Dear Bahooka, I see that you reverted an edit I made regarding the name of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and its members. I am new, so I was unaware that saying 'do note...' would not work. I am thankful that you considered it good faith. I just wanted to make sure with you that if I re-edited the page to include the necessary information, while not using phrases like 'do note that...' things could work. I would not include that information in the lede section. It is already long enough. The information about using the full name of church by President Nelson is already included in the first section, the one titled Terminology. If you want additional information about that topic in the article, I would discuss it on the article's talk page first to get more feedback from other editors. Good luck on your editing! "All content must be verifiable." What could be more verifiable than a vehicle VIN or serial number which indicates in it the plant of manufacture? Nothing is more verifiable than that. So, what exactly is your problem then? 108.6.237.202 (talk) 20:43, 19 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"20230319204300","author":"108.6.237.202","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-108.6.237.202-20230319204300-Chevrolet_Suburban","replies":["c-Bahooka-20230319204500-108.6.237.202-20230319204300"]}}-->
Your changes need to come from a published source. Cite it per WP policy. Doing your own analysis of VINs is original research, which is not allowed. Bahooka (talk) 20:45, 19 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"20230319204500","author":"Bahooka","type":"comment","level":2,"id":"c-Bahooka-20230319204500-108.6.237.202-20230319204300","replies":["c-108.6.237.202-20230319212000-Bahooka-20230319204500"]}}-->
First of all, analyzing VINs is more reliable than any published source because published sources can be wrong but vehicle VINs cannot. And, one can also say that a VIN is indeed a published source. It is "published" on the placard on the vehicle by the automaker that produced the vehicle. Second, any published source begins somewhere with original research. If you trace all the sources cited and keep tracing each source back farther and farther to its origination, you will sooner or later find "original research". So, if "original research" is not allowed, then nothing should be allowed. Of course, that would result in wikipedia disappearing and every other source of knowledge right along with it, all because of some arbitrary rule that makes no sense. Everything is "original research" if you go far enough back.
I have to say that users like you are quite interesting. You appear to want to enforce all these arbitrary rules so that everything is accurate and verified. But I have seen so many mistakes and inaccuracies on wikipedia which obviously nobody ever said anything about because they were published and stayed like that for a long time with no objections by anyone. But yet when someone comes along and tries to fix errors or add more relevant information, then all these users miraculously come out of the woodwork trying to enforce arbitrary rules. Where were all your rules before when people published incorrect information? Then, those rules were nowhere to be found. Is the goal simply to blindly enforce rules just for the sake of enforcing rules or is the goal to get correct and accurate information for all people to have available? I think that is a question worth pondering. 108.6.237.202 (talk) 21:20, 19 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"20230319212000","author":"108.6.237.202","type":"comment","level":3,"id":"c-108.6.237.202-20230319212000-Bahooka-20230319204500","replies":["c-Bahooka-20230319212600-108.6.237.202-20230319212000"]}}-->
I disagree with your assessment of Wikipedia policies and the reason you believe your edits are better than a published source. I couldn't help but notice that you've made some edits to articles about Brigham Young University and thought you might want to become a member of the BYU WikiProject. We're reviving the project and would love your help! To join simply add your name to the participant list and start working on something from the To-do list. If you need any help, don't hesitate to ask another project member.
See you soon!

Hey!! You better NOT vandalize articles, like you did to the Sun Belt’s Table of Major Cities section! What the f*** is wrong with you?! Plus, I do NOT find anything wrong about the table of Sun Belt Cities, not everything has to be sourced you dumba$$! First of all, it was not vandalism. If you look at my edit summary, it states that I am removing it per WP:NOTDIRECTORY. Second, everything on Wikipedia actually DOES need to be sourced. One of the policies of Wikipedia is Wikipedia:Verifiability. And third, please watch your tone and language with other editors (like me.) Another Wikipedia policy is Wikipedia:Civility. I will create a discussion on the talk page for the removal of that section. Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote.
If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. Why are you removing my work on the Scion page? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Scionnn (talk • contribs)

Yes i did. But my newer edit did not include dead links. I disregarded Scion.com and went forward another part about Scion, using an alive link from Archive.org. Is that also banned? What link was from archive.org? Hello.
The ' In Popular Culture ' sub-heading added to ' Cadillac ', yesterday, is capable of great expansion.
Many articles show how knowledge can be greatly broadened by directing those of particular interests, (in this case cars), to other subjects they had considered before, (in this example, to a singer).
This widening of knowledgee's family is what leads to a fuller understanding of one subject, and broader awareness of others, which, whilst we may still be out-of-sympathy with them, at least keeps our minds in a healthier state of enquiry than obsessions, which can become retarding. It's my hope that you'll agree with that.
I should like us to reach a two-party consensus on this by returning the sub-heading with the start which I have given it, in order to achieve what I've described; which is surely one of the greatest justifications for pursuing knowledge, rather than the futile accumulation of disparate facts just to see how high redundant additions can be piled; which the edit could be construed, by it's removal, to be taken as trying to prevent.
I understand this consensus could be in a newly-written form, but a complete excision of it has established I contend, a wrong principle; which is to be resistant to the opportunity to increase a subject's enjoyment.
I hope you find the opportunity to reply soon.
If you disagree, I can quite understand a different point of view, but, like you, unless persuaded, (which I could be), that I'm wrong, I should like, please, to know how to pursue my contention that it should stay.
I shall be interested to read a persuasive reply.
Thanks. Heath St John (talk) 15:50, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"20240610155000","author":"Heath St John","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-Heath_St_John-20240610155000-Cadillac","replies":["c-Bahooka-20240610160700-Heath_St_John-20240610155000"]}}-->

Greetings, there are two problems with the info you restored:
The first source which you modified makes no mention of how many children they have. And having been published in 2012, it definitely doesn't support the portion that says that they added another in 2021. Since the source does not verify the claim, the claim should either be removed, or a source that verifies it should be put in place of the existing one. I could find no sources that verify either seven or eight children.
The second source which remains unchanged from before, does not mention Boyé, and doesn't link to any video of Boyé either. By the same rationale, the claims must be removed, unless you have ones that do verify the claims.
I'm puzzled by your parenthetical that "it doesn't have to be on the internet to be verifiable". True, but non-sequitur. If an online source is being used as a reference, that reference must support the claim. Neither of the references support the claims. If you have non-online sources that verify the claims, by all means, add them; but absent them, the existing sources do not verify the claims, so, the content and sources must be removed. cheers. anastrophe, an editor he is.19:02, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"20240709190200","author":"Anastrophe","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-Anastrophe-20240709190200-The_problems_w\/Alex_Boy\u00e9_article","replies":["c-Bahooka-20240709192200-Anastrophe-20240709190200"]}}-->
Actually, after rereading a few times and checking the references, I agree. I think I just focused on finding the link. I'm for removing the content as you originally did. In fact, I will self-revert my edit.
Regarding verifiability, I was going off of WP:SOURCEACCESS on the WP:V page. A print copy of the Deseret News is likely available in Utah libraries (Deseret News wasn't solely digital until 2021.) It's kind of a moot point since I found on online link, but that was the thought process on the newspaper citation. It wouldn't be good if you picked up an edit war after being canvassed into it. 107.116.165.18 (talk) 02:43, 12 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"20240812024300","author":"107.116.165.18","type":"comment","level":3,"id":"c-107.116.165.18-20240812024300-107.116.165.18-20240812024200","replies":["c-107.116.165.18-20240812024400-107.116.165.18-20240812024300"]}}-->
Whoops, too late. Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. 107.116.165.18 (talk) 03:03, 12 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"20240812030300","author":"107.116.165.18","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-107.116.165.18-20240812030300-Notice_of_edit_warring_noticeboard_discussion","replies":[]}}-->
Hello. The protocols are the rules governing the NCAP tests. Obsolete means they are old tests where 5 stars do not guarantee a "safe" vehicle according to the current expectations for the region. Regards. Trigenibinion (talk) 07:26, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"20240822072600","author":"Trigenibinion","type":"comment","level":1,"id":"c-Trigenibinion-20240822072600-Obsolete_NCAP_protocols","replies":["c-Bahooka-20240822152900-Trigenibinion-20240822072600"]}}-->
Thank you for the explanation. Do you have a citation for each of these vehicles stating this? It appears to be original research, which is against Wikipedia policy. These NCAP articles detail the protocol changes with references. The references from your last two car edits say nothing about obsolete protocols. Bahooka (talk) 17:24, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"20240822172400","author":"Bahooka","type":"comment","level":4,"id":"c-Bahooka-20240822172400-Trigenibinion-20240822171200","replies":["c-Trigenibinion-20240822173100-Bahooka-20240822172400"]}}-->
The references are in the NCAP articles, not each car article. See "Comparison groups". Some protocol changes may appear also elsewhere in those articles. Trigenibinion (talk) 17:31, 22 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]__DTELLIPSISBUTTON__{"threadItem":{"timestamp":"20240822173100","author":"Trigenibinion","type":"comment","level":5,"id":"c-Trigenibinion-20240822173100-Bahooka-20240822172400","replies":["c-Bahooka-20240822180700-Trigenibinion-20240822173100"]}}-->
I disagree with that approach. The reference should directly support the content in each article. I think you should discuss this approach at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Automobiles.
