HaloPSA (formerly NetHelpDesk) is a UK-based professional services automation (PSA) platform used by managed service providers (MSPs) to run service desks, projects, assets, and billing. The product originated as NetHelpDesk in 1994 and was rebranded to HaloPSA in 2020.

History

Paul Hamilton launched NetHelpDesk in 1994 as an IT help-desk package. After years of feature expansion, the company rebranded the software to HaloPSA in January 2020 to reflect its wider PSA scope.[1][2] By September 2024, HaloPSA employed about 180 people, supported 3,500 MSP partners in roughly 100 countries, and had doubled revenue year-over-year for five consecutive years.[3] Annual sales surpassed US $100 million in 2024, and new offices were opened in Dubai and Florida to support overseas growth.[4]

In September 2024 HaloPSA and remote-monitoring vendor NinjaOne launched an integrated PSA/RMM platform positioned as a high-end alternative to Kaseya 365.[5] Six months later telecom carrier AT&T integrated its Partner Exchange programme with HaloPSA, allowing MSPs to quote and bill AT&T connectivity directly through the platform.[6] In November 2024, independent research firm Canalys placed HaloPSA in the "Champions" quadrant of its global PSA/RMM Leadership Matrix, citing strong momentum and product depth.[7]
