Talk:Senmō Main Line

The result of this 15 month discussion was to Not Merge (as there was no discussion at all). Plus there are 26 other stations in the same situation for this line. A merge of only one line seemed silly, but to be honest all the stations could easily fit on the main page and that would be my recommendation (unless one is particularly notable). The main page is a tiny 5k and each station is about 1k. The entire network would be more easily maintained by wiki editors that way... Fyunck(click) (talk) 23:50, 14 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Merge to

The article Midori Station (Hokkaidō) is very short and unrefereed either or both are good reasons to merge into this article per WP:STATION. Jeepday (talk) 18:50, 25 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Informal merge request of ALL stations

Though the single station merge was rejected by me, it would seem prudent to merge ALL the stations into the small main article. No purpose is being served by having a scattered bunch of tiny 1k articles that are not sourced or maintained, when they could all be listed on the main page where all editors would be able to catch changes very quickly. The main page here is only 5k in size and it would make a very nice and full article if everything was in the same place. Plus the guidelines at WP:Station would seem to dictate that approach.
