The article says that Lake Nicaragua is the one and onl freshwater lake with sharks, but no source is given. Some googling indicates that Bull sharks are found in the lake. Bull sharks are not true freshwater sharks, as their range includes the world's oceans. The lake is connected to the Caribbean via the San Juan river, allowing bull sharks access to the ocean. So is there another species of shark in the lake, or should the statement be rephrased? Can anybody help? There is no source provided when referring to the bull sharks or any other species in the lake. Its a subspecies of bull shark, they migrate from the lake to the caribbean and back.

The article refers to waves in the oceans being caused by the moon. I think, however, that it is tides which are influenced by the moon. The article states:

"The country's worst drought in 32 years took its toll on the lake in 2014; the Nicaraguan government recommended citizens to raise and eat iguanas over chickens to reduce water consumption."

Looking at the source supplied - using Google translate because I don't read Spanish - it seems that the article actually states that:

"recommended that iguanas be raised, instead of hunting them in the forests"

It does mention chickens, but only that they have less protein than iguanas.

I would make the edit myself, but not reading Spanish I cannot guarantee that the translation was accurate.
