E Nomine means "in the name of" or "out of the name" ? I think it is the first one, because it is named like that in other languages wikipage for this group.

E Nomine does not mean out of the name. E Nomine means in the name of. This can be demonstrated in the prayer E Nomine patris et filii et spiritu sancti (In the name of the Father, the son, and the holy spirit). Also, E Nomine is not a Catholic/Christian project. They only have one CD dealing with religious things. This doesn't make them a Christian group, though. It just means they used it for some of their content.

One? Nope. Pretty much all of their albums have songs dealing with religious themes. But are they Christian? We don't know. Well, I don't know many Christian groups who would use inverted pentagrams on their album covers. Though this does not mean that they are affiliated with any left hand path either. Actually alot of their CD's have religious themes/overtones "Der Prophetzeiung"(sp?) "Das Testemant" to name a couple. Most of their songs deal with Satan, God, Heaven, Hell, the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ. I was under the impression that the prayer was "In nomine patris..." "E" is short of "ex" as in "ex libris" from the library of. "e pluribus unum" from many, one. Some of the above users are definitely confusing this with the Latin invocation "in nomine patris, et filii, et spiritus sancti". There's been a song going around titled Padre Nuestro. Basically, Vater Unser, just in Spanish. I've also noticed that a rather clear recording of Excalibur popped up too, the only version I knew of before being a live recording on YouTube. Any chance this might mean E Nomine is stirring? Is it possible to change the title of the article to E Nomine (band) to avoid confusion. I was looking for the band but I was thinking that some people maybe looking for the actual phrase in Latin (in context to E Nomine Patris Et Filia Es Spiritu Sancti). Or maybe put a Disambiguate page to help out.
