The consensus that currently stands on this page is that Despised Icon, although announcing that they will be disbanding, have not yet disbanded and are therefore still active as a band. Therefore, do not modify the header to say "Despised Icon was", nor "2002-present" to "2002-2010". These will be modified in due time once they have formally disbanded and the members go about their separate ways. I've tagged a few claims in the lead that are;

weaselly. You cannot say things like "considered" if you're not going to say who by. Whose opinion is this? "know for" - again by who? If they do work in the underground music industry, then say that. If we are going to say they are "known for" it we have to demonstrate that.
uncited. And by that I mean they are not sourced or cited in the lead, or in the article.

I also removed the word "large' as it is both opinion and unclear.
