Suzan Lamens (born 5 July 1999) is a Dutch professional tennis player. Lamens has a best singles ranking by the WTA of No. 121, achieved on 22 July 2024. She also has a career-high doubles ranking of world No. 183, attained on 22 May 2023.[1]
Lamens won her first $60k title at the 2021 Amstelveen Open, in the doubles draw, partnering with Quirine Lemoine.
She made her WTA Tour debut at the 2022 Copa Colsanitas.[2]
In April, she defeated Jelena Ostapenko in the 2024 BJK Group I for her first top 10 win.[3] Following her maiden WTA 125 title at the 2024 Oeiras Ladies Open, which she won as an unseeded player,[4] [5] she made her top 150 debut at No. 134, on 22 April 2024.[6]
Ranked No. 140, she received a wildcard for the Rosmalen Open and defeated Bernarda Pera in the first round.[7]
Lamens reached her first WTA 250 level quarterfinal at the 2024 Budapest Grand Prix defeating eighth seed Varvara Gracheva[8] and Carole Monnet,[9][10] before losing to Aliaksandra Sasnovich.[11]
