District in West Azerbaijan, Iran
Rabat District (Persian : بخش ربط ) is in Sardasht County , West Azerbaijan province, Iran . Its capital is the city of Rabat ,[ 2] whose population at the 2016 National Census was 15,750 people in 4,030 households.[ 3]
History
After the 2016 National Census, the village of Nalas was elevated to the status of a city.[ 4]
In 2022, Bask-e Kuleseh and Gavork-e Sardasht Rural Districts, and the cities of Nalas and Rabat , were separated from their districts in the formation of Rabat District.[ 2]
