Part of Plouguenast-Langast in Brittany, France
Plouguenast (French pronunciation: [pluɡna]; Breton: Plougonwaz; Gallo: Ploegenas) is a former commune in the Côtes-d'Armor department of Brittany in northwestern France. On 1 January 2019, it was merged into the new commune Plouguenast-Langast.[2]
Climate
Plouguenast has an oceanic climate (Köppen climate classification Cfb). The average annual temperature in Plouguenast is 11.0 °C (51.8 °F). The average annual rainfall is 966.8 mm (38.06 in) with January as the wettest month. The temperatures are highest on average in August, at around 17.5 °C (63.5 °F), and lowest in January, at around 5.3 °C (41.5 °F). The highest temperature ever recorded in Plouguenast was 36.9 °C (98.4 °F) on 9 August 2003; the coldest temperature ever recorded was −12.4 °C (9.7 °F) on 2 January 1997.
