Luminosa Bogliolo (born 3 July 1995) is an Italian hurdler who won a gold medal at the 2019 Summer Universiade and a silver medal at the 2018 Mediterranean Games.[2]
In 2020 Bogliolo, winning BAUHAUS-galan in Stockholm, became the first Italian female in history to win a stage in the Diamond League.[3] She competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics, in 100 m hurdles.[4]
In 2018, establishing her Personal Best on 100 metres hurdles with 12.99, at 23 May 2018 had reached the 13th place in the seasonal European lists,[5] thus obtaining the EAA standard and the selection for the 2018 European Athletics Championships.
In September she won in Pescara her first national championship.[6] She is engaged to the hurdler Lorenzo Perini.[7]
She has also obtained two other results under 13 seconds, but with a wind higher than the norm of +2.0 mps.[8]
The outdoor season start on 13 May in Savona, Italy with 12,84 another results under 12.90.[10]
Bogliolo won five national championships at individual senior level.[11][12]
Luminosa Bogliolo won in 12 "88 the 100 obstacles of the Diamond League at the meeting in Stockholm, writing a historical page of Italian athletics. In fact, it had never happened that an Italian won a race on the prestigious International Tour.
