At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,098 in 255 households, when it was in Jolgeh Rural District of the Central District.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 1,084 people in 301 households,[5] by which time the village had been separated from the district in the formation of Pirsalman District. Lak Lak was transferred to Pirsalman Rural District.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 868 people in 273 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
