Kick Kick Kick Kick (Korean: 킥킥킥킥) is an upcoming South Korean sitcom office comedy drama television series co-written by Jung Soo-hyun, Nam Eun-kyung, and Jung Hae-young, directed by Koo Seong-jun, and starring Ji Jin-hee, Lee Kyu-hyung, Baek Ji-won, and Lee Min-jae. It is scheduled to premiere on February 5, 2025, and will air every Wednesday and Thursday at 21:50 (KST).
Synopsis
Kick Kick Kick Kick is an office comedy drama about 10 million actor Ji Jin-hee and one-time star PD Jo Young-sik who establish a content production company and run towards 3 million subscribers.
A national actor who was once loved by the entire nation and an all-round entertainer who even took over the entertainment world. He had huge viewership ratings for every work he did and even had the honor of being called a '10 million actor', but all of this is just past glory and he is currently the co-CEO of the content production company 'Kick Kick Kick Kick Company'.
Another co-CEO of 'Kick Kick Kick Kick Company'. He was a star PD who caused a sensation with every program he touched, to the point that his debut work recorded the highest viewership ratings of the year, but he had to leave his heyday behind due to some scandal.
A dedicated therapist for the 'Kick Kick Kick Kick Company' staff. She is the owner of an extraordinary record, having lived an extremely ordinary life but suddenly entered a temple and devoted herself to spiritual training.
The epitome of workaholic MZ, and will be responsible for the future of 'Kick Kick Kick Kick Company'. He is a so-called 'fraudulent character' who combines overflowing imagination and determination, is ambitious yet calm and curious, and is also focused.
Production
Accoding to Star News report on May 30, 2024, KBS would be launching the sitcomKick Kick Kick Kick in the second half of 2024, and the main character is Ji Jin-hee.[2] The series is directed by Koo Seung-jun and co-written by Jung Soo-hyun, Nam Eun-kyung, and Jung Hae-young. DK E&M and Ji Jin-hee's agency Ikkle Entertainment are co-producing the drama.[1]
Casting
On August 5, Lee Kyu-hyung had been offered a role and is positively reviewing it.[3] On September 10, Baek Ji-won is in positive discussions to appear.[4] On December 11, Ji Jin-hee, Lee, Baek, and Lee Min-jae had been confirmed to appear.[1]
Kick Kick Kick Kick is scheduled to premiere on February 5, 2025, and will air every Wednesday and Thursday at 21:50 (KST).[1]
