Hot Year is an upcoming American coming-of-age thriller film written and directed by Roxy Sophie Sorkin (in her feature directorial debut). It stars Kathryn Newton, Storm Reid, Dove Cameron, J. Smith-Cameron, Owen Painter, and Cole Sprouse.

In April 2026, it was announced that filmmaker Roxy Sophie Sorkin would be making her feature directorial debut on a coming-of-age revenge thriller film, starring Kathryn Newton, Storm Reid, Dove Cameron, J. Smith-Cameron, Owen Painter, and Cole Sprouse. Principal photography is scheduled to begin in May 2026, in Oklahoma.[1][2]
