At the time of the 2006 National Census, the rural district's population was 5,484 in 1,260 households.[6] There were 6,360 inhabitants in 1,708 households at the following census of 2011.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 6,903 in 2,010 households. The most populous of its 28 villages was Shirvaneh, with 2,092 people.[2]
