Betiton is an online publisher of casino and sportsbook reviews and comparisons, with localized editions for regulated gambling markets including the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, and New Zealand.[1] The website launched in February 2020 as an online casino and sportsbook, and relaunched as a review and comparison platform in early 2026.[2][1]

History

Betiton was founded in February 2020 by Arnaud Serour and is operated by Sharp Connection Ltd, a Malta-registered iGaming company.[3] The brand launched as an online casino and sportsbook on the Aspire Global platform,[4][5] under licences from the Malta Gaming Authority[6] and the United Kingdom Gambling Commission,[7] which allowed it to serve players in the United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, and Canada. In late 2024, it was licensed by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario to operate in the Canadian province of Ontario.[8]

As an operator, Betiton received several industry awards, including Rising Star Operator at the 2021 SiGMA Europe Awards,[9] Marketing Campaign of the Year at the 2022 SiGMA Europe Awards,[10] Rising Star in Casino at the 2023 SBC Awards,[11][12] and Best Casino Program at the 2023 SiGMA Europe Awards.[13] In May 2021, the brand appointed former Liverpool and Marseille striker Djibril Cissé as brand ambassador and in-house association football expert.[14][15]

In early 2026, Betiton ceased operating as a gambling provider and relaunched betiton.com as a casino and sportsbook comparison website.[2][1][16] As of July 2026, www.betiton.com is recorded as an inactive domain on the United Kingdom Gambling Commission's public register,[17] and Betiton no longer appears on iGaming Ontario's list of licensed operators.[18]

Platform

Betiton publishes reviews of licensed online casinos and sportsbooks, comparisons of payment methods and bonus offers, and betting tools such as odds and bet calculators.[1][16] Content is published in localized editions for individual regulated markets, and the company states that operators it recommends must hold a licence from the gambling regulator of the relevant market.[16] Each edition carries responsible gambling information for its jurisdiction.[16]
