A Lonely Island in the Distant Sea (Korean: 절해고도; RR: Jeolhaegodo[1][2]) is a 2021[3] South Korean drama[4] film written and directed by Kim Mi-young.[5][6] The film won the 2021 DGK MEGABOX Award at the Busan International Film Festival.[7][8]

Premise

A divorced sculptor decides to become a monk.
