2024–25 Ohio State Buckeyes men's basketball team
American college basketball season
The 2024–25 Ohio State Buckeyes men's basketball team represents the Ohio State University during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They are led by first-year head coach Jake Diebler, and play their home games at Value City Arena in Columbus, Ohio, as a member of the Big Ten Conference.
Previous season
The Buckeyes finished the 2023–24 season 22–14, 9–11 in Big Ten play to finish in a three-way tie for tenth place. As the No. 10 seed in the Big Ten tournament, they beat Iowa in the first round,[1] before losing to Illinois in the quarterfinals.[2] The Buckeyes automatically qualified for the National Invitation Tournament as the No. 2 seed where they defeated Cornell in the first round[3] and Virginia Tech in the second round,[4] before losing to Georgia in the quarterfinal.[5]
