Pre-season and friendlies

On 24 May, Peterborough announced their first pre-season friendly, against Spalding United along with a training camp in Spain.[52] Four days later, a second local friendly was confirmed by the club, against Stamford.[53] A third was later added, against Colchester United.[54] A fourth was added, with a trip to Boston United confirmed.[55] On 12 June, the club announced back-to-back fixtures against Notts County.[56] Nine days later, AFC Wimbledon were confirmed as the opponents in La Nucia.[57] A behind closed doors fixture against West Bromwich Albion was also added.[58]
