On 30 August 2013, Beşiktaş was disqualified from the 2013–14 UEFA Europa League as per final ruling by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.[17] They were replaced in the group stage draw by Tromsø, which lost to Beşiktaş in the play-off round.[18]
