Ο Θόδωρος Καρυπίδης (23 Μαΐου 1979) είναι Έλληνας επιχειρηματίας, μέτοχος και ιδιοκτήτης της ΠΑΕ Άρης.

Επιχειρήσεις

Ο Καρυπίδης ίδρυσε την "Karipidis Pallets", εταιρεία παραγωγής παλετών, στη Νάουσα το 2001, με την αδελφή του Ειρήνη, αξιοποιώντας την οικογενειακή τεχνογνωσία τους στην επεξεργασία του ξύλου, που εστιαζόταν κυρίως στον οικοδομικό κλάδο.[1] Η εταιρεία έλαβε μέρος στα ολυμπιακά έργα του 2004 και το 2008 ολοκληρώθηκε μία επένδυση πέντε εκατομμυρίων ευρώ, αναβαθμίζοντας τις παραγωγικές γραμμές στη μονάδα του. Η ετήσια παραγωγή σε παλέτες είναι 1.500.000, ενώ η εταιρία διαθέτει πάνω από 250 κωδικούς στο εν λόγω προϊόν.

Karipidis Pallets

Το 2014, αγόρασε την αλυσίδα σούπερ μάρκετ Αρβανιτίδης σε συνεργασία με την Carrefour Μαρινόπουλος.[2] Τον Απρίλιο του 2016, η εταιρεία κατέθεσε αίτηση για να υπαχθεί στο άρθρο 99 του Πτωχευτικού Κώδικα, με σκοπό να ρυθμιστούν τα χρέη της εταιρείας.[3]

Ενασχόληση με το ποδόσφαιρο

Στις 6 Αυγούστου 2014, έγινε γνωστό ότι ο Καρυπίδης ανέλαβε την προεδρία της ομάδας της Βέροιας.[4] Λίγους μήνες νωρίτερα, είχε ενδιαφερθεί για την αγορά της πλειοψηφίας του μετοχικού κεφαλαίου της ΠΑΕ Εργοτέλης, χωρίς τελικά να ολοκληρωθεί η συμφωνία.[5]

Τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2015, ανέλαβε χρέη εφόρου στην ομάδα του Άρη Θεσσαλονίκης, ο οποίος αγωνιζόταν στην Γ' Εθνική κατηγορία.[6] Λόγω του ότι οι "κίτρινοι" ήταν ερασιτεχνικό σωματείο σε αυτή την κατηγορία, κατάφερε να διατηρήσει την προεδρία και της ομάδας της Βέροιας.[7]

Το καλοκαίρι του 2016 αφού αποσύρθηκε από την προεδρία και τις μετοχές της ΠΑΕ Βέροια, ο Καρυπίδης, καλύπτοντας με 1,2 εκατομμύρια ευρώ το Μ.Κ. της νεοσύστατης ΠΑΕ Άρης έγινε ο μεγαλομέτοχος των κιτρινόμαυρων. Μετά την εγγραφή της ΠΑΕ Άρης στο Γ.Ε.Μ.Η, ο Θόδωρος Καρυπίδης έγινε και τυπικά ο ιδιοκτήτης της ομάδας.

Παράλληλα, είναι πρόεδρος και ποδοσφαιριστής της ερασιτεχνικής ομάδας του ΑΣ Ειρηνούπολης, [8]
