Soma Somody (geboren am 22. Mai 2004) ist ein ungarischer Degenfechter.
Karriere
Somody wurde 2004 in Budapest geboren. Er ist Vollzeitstudent an der Technischen und Wirtschaftswissenschaftlichen Universität Budapest in der Fachrichtung Kommunikations‑ und Medienwissenschaften. Er begann im Alter von neun Jahren mit dem Fechten, und seine Trainer lenkten ihn von Anfang an auf den Degen. Seit seinem zehnten Lebensjahr nimmt er an Wettkämpfen teil, zunächst in der Olimpici‑Serie. Sein erster Trainer war Tibor Török, seitdem wird er von Dániel Bojti betreut.
Bei den Summer World University Games 2025 gewann er im Einzel und mit der Mannschaft jeweils die Silbermedaille.
