NAB-14 ist ein negativer allosterischer Modulator, der selektiv an GluN2C/2D-haltigen NMDA-Glutamatrezeptoren wirkt. Der Selektivtätsfaktor gegenüber Rezeptoren mit GluN2A- und GluN2B-Untereinheiten beträgt 800. Es hat einen IC50-Wert von 580 nM an GluN1/GluN2D-Rezeptoren.[2] NAB-14 dient in der Forschung als experimenteller Wirkstoff mit antidepressiver Wirkung.[3]
