Gaius Iulius Antiochianus

Gaius Iulius Antiochianus war ein im 2. Jahrhundert n. Chr. lebender Angehöriger des römischen Ritterstandes (eques).

Antiochianus stammte aus Samosata in Commagene. Durch ein Militärdiplom[1] ist belegt, dass er im Jahr 138 n. Chr. Kommandeur der Cohors I Cisipadensium war, die zu diesem Zeitpunkt in der Provinz Thracia stationiert war.[2] Die Leitung der Kohorte war wahrscheinlich sein erstes militärisches Kommando (militia prima).[3]

Aufgrund seines Namens wird vermutet, dass er mit Gaius Iulius Antiochus Epiphanes Philopappus verwandt war.[3]
