Country! Country! ist das vierte Studioalbum des US-amerikanischen Country-Sängers Hardy. Es erschien am 26. September 2025 über Big Loud.

Entstehung

Gleich nach der Veröffentlichung des Vorgängeralbums Quit begann Hardy mit der Arbeit an dem Nachfolgealbum. Während Quit ein Rock-Album war, kehrte Hardy mit Country! Country! wieder zu seinen musikalischen Wurzeln zurück.[1] Abgesehend von dem Lied Car That Drove You Away schrieb Hardy jedes der 20 Lieder des Albums. Als externe Songwriter waren David Garcia, Ashley Gorley, Zach Abend, Beau Bailey, Taylor Phillips, Nate Smith, Ernest Keith Smith, Ben Johnson, Hunter Phelps, Drew Parker, Matt Roy, Geoff Warbuton, Greyland James, Jordan Schmidt, Carson Wallace, Matt Dragstrem, Jeb Gipson, Jameson Rodgers, Jessie Jo Dillon, Cam Montgomery, Smith Ahnquist und Kyle Clarke beteiligt. Als Gastsänger sind Ernest bei dem Lied Bro Country und Stephen Wilson Jr. bei dem Lied Bedrooms in the Sky zu hören. Am 2. Mai 2025 veröffentlichte Hardy die EP Country!. Die fünf Titel der EP sind ebenfalls auf dem Album Country! Country! zu hören. Produziert wurde das Album von Joey Moi. Für das Lied Favorite Country Song wurde ein Musikvideo veröffentlicht.

Rezeption

Jonathan Bernstein vom Magazin Rolling Stone schrieb, dass das Album „unter der Oberfläche überraschend“ wäre. Allerdings wäre er zu oft im Leerlauf seiner eigenen Möglichkeiten mit oberflächlichen Liedern wie Favorite Country Song oder Country in Me. Bernstein vergab drei von fünf Punkten.[2]
