Annika-Quadrille

Die Annika-Quadrille ist eine Quadrille von Johann Strauss (Sohn) (op. 53). Sie wurde am 16. März 1848 in Bukarest erstmals aufgeführt.

Anmerkungen

Das Werk entstand genau wie die Marien-Quadrille (op. 51) auf der Balkanreise des Komponisten in den Jahren 1847/48. Auch in dieser Quadrille werden rumänische Melodien verarbeitet. Einen Widmungsträger gibt es in diesem Fall aber nicht. Es ist auch nicht bekannt, welche Annika mit dem Titelnamen gemeint war. Die Orchesterfassung ging verloren. Die unten erwähnte CD-Einspielung erfolgte mit Hilfe eines Arrangements von Vladimir Haklik anhand des Klavierauszuges.

Die Spieldauer beträgt auf der unter Einzelnachweis angeführten CD 4 Minuten und 46 Sekunden. Je nach der musikalischen Auffassung des Dirigenten kann diese Zeit etwas variieren.[1]
