Mužská dvouhra Nordea Open 2022 probíhala okolo poloviny července 2022. Do singlové soutěže båstadského tenisového turnaje hraného na antuce nastoupilo dvacet osm hráčů. Obhájcem titulu byl norský tenista Casper Ruud,[1] který ve druhém kole podlehl Cerúndolovi.

Vítězem se stal 23letý Argentinec Francisco Cerúndolo, jenž ve finále zdolal o dva roky mladšího osmého nasazeného krajana Sebastiána Báeze po dvousetovém průběhu 7–6 a 6–2. Jednalo se o jejich první vzájemný zápas. Na okruhu ATP Tour tak vybojoval první kariérní titul, jímž vylepšil předchozí maximum z finále Argentina Open 2021. Bodový zisk jej premiérově posunul do elitní světové třicítky, jíž ve vydání žebříčku po skončení uzavíral.[2][3]
