Maximilián Daublebský (také Daudlebský, Doudlebský) ze Sternecku (14. února 1829, Klagenfurt – 5. prosince 1897, Vídeň) pocházel z rodu Daudlebských ze Sternecku a byl velitelem Rakousko-uherského námořnictva.

Život

Rou 1847 vstoupil po absolvování Marine Kollegs v Benátkách do námořnictva v hodnosti kadeta. Roku 1848 se účastnil blokády Benátek a roku 1859 se stal korvetním kapitánem. V roce 1864 byl povýšen na fregatního kapitána a velel lodi SMS Schwarzenberg v bitvě u Helgolandu. V bitvě u Visu se svou lodí SMS Erzherzog Ferdinand Max, která byla vlajkovou lodí admirála Wilhelma von Tegetthoff, potopil italskou vlajkovou loď Re d'Italia. Za tento čin mu byl udělen Vojenský řád Marie Terezie.

V roce 1869 byl jmenován velitelem v přístavu Pola (dnes Pula). V roce 1872 byl povýšen na kontradmirála, roku 1883 obdržel hodnost viceadmirála a zároveň se stal velitelem Rakousko-uherského námořnictva. Roku 1888 byl povýšen do hodnosti admirála a tímto krokem byl jeho vojenský postup ukončen.

Zemřel roku 1897 ve Vídni. Jeho ostatky byl pohřbeny v Pule a srdce bylo pohřbeno v hrobce na zámku Krastowitze.
